New Catalog...I'm in love..

The best way to describe the New catalog, is that I feel like I can just curl up with a cup of coffee and sit in a chair and look at it forever. It is so warm and inviting, and NOT overwhelming.  There are certainly cool new stamp sets, AWESOME new papers and colors, but not so much that I feel like overwhelmed.  Which is what I feel alot of times when a new book comes out.  This book already feels like a good friend, and I'm looking forward to spending the whole year getting to know it better. I will memorize page numbers, and go page by page and find my favorite samples and stamp sets.  Something I hadn't done with the past few catalogs, because they were only around for such a short time.  I am SO impressed with the color swatches page. It's like they somehow put REAL swatches of each color on the pages.  It is so cool, and they are true to color. The new polka dot ribbon is gorgeous!  I love the new Razzleberry In-color, and the soft suede is much like True Thyme.  One of my favorite things is the new wedding section, with stamp sets, and paper specially for invitations.  The paper is going to be so beautiful to send through the big shot...speaking of The Big shot..there are SO many new dies and many of them exclusive only to Stampin' Up! and two new folders like the Manhattan flower.  I am going to spend a fortune on dies in July.  But, they also kept all our current ones too, so keep on buying those.  I could go on and on...but I have to get up early to get ready for all my guests tomorrow.  I have 26 people coming to share the day with me.  I will post a couple of the samples we'll be making, and also another retired stamp set one.  The Doodle This card was made by Tricia Bloomfield, doing the Stained Glass technique with card stock vellum.  The other two cards are using the new incolors and stamp sets.  Enjoy!
Blessings,
Ronda

  1. You are so lucky to have your book already. I am placing my first order tomorrow morning and cannot wait to get to book. I think even more excited about the book then all the $500 worth of stuff I bought. (well almost!) Sorry could not be their tomorrow but been watching yours and Sandi's blogs and keeping up with the news. Have a great day.
